OurMusical Theatre WorkshopsCan be held at the SOPA premises in Swatar, or our professional tutors can travel to you!
Musical Theatre combines movement, singing, and acting – a great way to improve co-ordination and performance techniques. A fantastic confidence-building class whilst nurturing performance skills; singing, acting and movement exercises are explored in a fun and creative way.
Workshops will focus on confidence building, creativity, communication skills, and performance.
These workshops can be tailor-made to your needs and for any group of students aged between 5 and 16. Minimum group number required.

Little Red Riding HoodAn Introduction to opera Classes for Groups of 75+ students Ages 5-8
Journey through the forest with Little Red Riding on her way to deliver some special healthy treats to her sick Granny. Our friendly Wolf narrates this fun twist on a classical children’s story and interacts with the students through an introductory workshop that explains the nature of classical singing and stagecraft..
Alice in OperalandA journey into well known operatic areas presented through an accessible familiar storytale.Suitable for Groups of 75+ students aged 9 – 11
Alice sits at her desk. She has lots of music homework. She complains about how boring she finds opera and how she is never going to remember all the names of the different singers or the different music notes for her music test. She throws herself on the bed, phone in her hand wishing that the phone could magically transport her somewhere far far away from her home. Suddenly the phone starts ringing, the room starts spinning and she feels herself being sucked into a powerful vacuum…
Follow Alice into Operaland and meet the opera-singing Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts and the other storybook characters.

The Legend of The Blue LadyA children’s opera centred around Maltese folkloreSuitable for Groups of 75+ students aged 12+
This engaging opera performance reveals the doomed fate of the young maiden Annabel and how she came to haunt Verdala Castle in Buskett. An insight into Maltese legend through the medium of classical voice lends itself to a fun and interactive opera suitable for teens.
The opera lasts 40-45minutes and is introduced with a workshop.
